Document Retrieval Professional

We are seeking a skilled Medical Document Retrieval Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience requesting health records from providers on behalf of healthcare companies, law firms, or related organizations.
This role is responsible for determining all relevant healthcare providers associated with a client's treatment, beyond the main facility listed by the law firm. You will locate billing providers and related entities using tools such as Chartswap, prior request history, and direct provider calls.
Your primary focus will be on reviewing and correcting incoming Release of Information (ROI) forms, creating accurate base forms before assembling final submission packets, and conducting thorough quality assurance checks for each ROI packet.
You will also assign requests to appropriate records team members based on workload and utilization metrics, identify and escalate provider-specific requirements to the appropriate Client Success Manager, and resolve missing or conflicting information by liaising directly with the law firm's case manager.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Experience requesting health records from providers on behalf of healthcare companies, law firms, or related organizations.
- Extreme accuracy, with attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and PDF editing/combining tools.
