Lead Web Designer

Description
  • We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Web Designer to spearhead the design of our consumer-facing websites, leading a diverse range of projects and working with various businesses.
  • You'll be responsible for setting the standard for all website and design projects, managing end-to-end website redesigns, delivering high-performing web design solutions, and guiding project direction.
  • A successful candidate will have 5+ years experience in an advertising agency or creative studio, with expertise in UX Research & Strategy, content marketing design principles, and project management skills.
  • They'll also be proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Business Suite, with experience in Brand Design and Uplift, as well as being proactive and genuinely creative.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design high-converting landing pages, new UI components, and brand refreshes.
  • Own projects from initial strategy and UX through to polished execution and delivery.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure smooth design-to-build handover.
  • Balance hands-on design work with guiding project direction and supporting the team when needed.
  • Maintain and raise the standard of internal brand visuals for clients.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in an advertising agency or creative studio.
  • Proven UX Research & Strategy experience (Wireframing, User Flows, Prototyping, Information Architecture).
  • Understanding of content marketing design principles.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize time for yourself and a team to meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Business Suite.
