Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful individual to join our team as a Surveillance Operations Specialist. This critical role involves overseeing live security camera feeds across multiple facilities, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor live security camera feeds and respond promptly to any incidents or suspicious activity;
  • Identify and document unauthorized staff departures and take disciplinary action when necessary;
  • Control door access at high-security facilities and maintain accurate records of all access events;
  • Collaborate with management and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes;
  • Perform daily security checks and conduct investigations into incidents or policy violations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

For this position, we require:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 13 AIHR certifications;
  • SHRM certification is an asset;
  • Experience in surveillance, law enforcement, security, or residential care monitoring;
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent situational awareness;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions;
  • Familiarity with surveillance software and access control systems;
  • Professional communication and documentation habits;
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
