About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Background
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • You have relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent fields.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare initial budget estimates and realistic cash flow projections to ensure project feasibility.
  2. Conduct quantity take-off and estimates to inform project planning and cost management decisions.
  3. Represent the company at bid conferences and project meetings, analyze tender submissions, prepare bid evaluation reports, and recommend tender awards for bid negotiations.
  4. Evaluate and transact variation/change order claims, maintain updated lists of all bonds and insurances reflecting validity and expiration dates of contracts, and prepare reports on contractors'/suppliers' final account close-out.
  5. Prepare, calculate, and control budgets for man-hours, equipment, and materials to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
