Procurement Specialist - Healthcare

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for analyzing contracts and spending data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze spend data against active contracts to measure compliance and utilization, identifying areas for improvement and potential cost savings.
  • Review existing contracts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives, making recommendations for renegotiation or termination as necessary.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost reduction and process efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related field, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, and data validation.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle or Workday, and GPO platforms, such as Vizient.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
