Senior Bookkeeper Job Description

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing senior-level bookkeeping tasks for clients in Australia. This involves utilizing Xero Payroll and other accounting software to manage finances effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process timesheets, superannuation, and PAYG compliance using Xero Payroll.
  • Handle bank reconciliations and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare payables and receivables reports.
  • Manage sales invoicing and conduct XERO Projects tracking and reporting.
  • Complete end-to-end preparation of BAS/IAS and provide management reports, cashflow forecasts, and budgets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with Australian clients and proficiency in Xero and DEXT or Hubdocs.
  • Strong accountability, leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and attention to detail.
