Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to support our finance team as a Senior Accountant.

The ideal candidate will provide administrative and accounting support, ensuring smooth financial operations across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance Support:
    • Assist with monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary on key financial metrics.
    • Support the offshore team with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
    • Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Assist with journal entries to ensure financial record accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
    • Prepare and journal weekly payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Month-End & Year-End Support:
    • Assist the offshore team in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
    • Prepare supporting reconciliations and documentation for audit purposes.
    • Assist in producing management accounts for the leadership team, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Help prepare clear, concise, and meaningful financial reports to support decision-making, using data visualization techniques to enhance understanding.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage the finance inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
    • Handle supplier setup and process local invoice payments, maintaining relationships with vendors.
    • Process sales reimbursements and company expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Maintain vehicle compliance requirements, ensuring regulatory adherence.
    • Update daily cashbooks to ensure accurate cash flow records, informing financial decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Support:
    • Provide additional assistance on finance projects and other administrative tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of solid accounting experience, including multi-entity accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across multiple entities, using business acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a global environment with different currencies and time zones, requiring cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Team management and leadership experience is an advantage, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is ideal, with proficiency in payroll processing and awareness of current AI/automation trends in finance.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability and resilience.
  • A valid CPA license is a plus, with the ability to apply technical knowledge and expertise.
