Email Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Email Marketing Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and executing email campaigns, managing subscriber lists, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign Creation: Develop comprehensive email and SMS marketing campaigns across various customer segments.
• Email Database Management: Build, segment, and personalize subscriber lists to maximize deliverability and engagement rates.
• Create Compelling Email Content: Craft engaging subject lines, copy, and HTML templates that align with brand guidelines and drive conversions.
• Monitor Deliverability and Compliance: Manage sender reputation, ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR), and monitor email deliverability.

Flows/Automations:

• Setup and Create Flows: Briefed by the CRM team, setup filters, draft email/SMS messages, time delays, and property profile updates.
• Review Flow Performance: Regularly review flow performance and report back on any insights and optimisations.

Optimizations:

• A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and design elements to continuously improve campaign performance.
• Automated Email Sequences: Build and optimize automated email sequences including welcome series, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns.

Quality Assurance/Testing:

• Ensure Error-Free Campaigns: Test all email and SMS campaigns and templates for errors.
• Test Email Templates: Ensure email templates render correctly across devices using Litmus.
• Validate Links and Images: Ensure all email and SMS flow/campaign messages have valid links, images, and fall-back alt text.
• Conduct Thorough Testing: Test flows to ensure correct filters are setup and correct profiles enter at the right time.
• Dynamic Content Blocks: Conduct testing to ensure dynamic content blocks are setup correctly.

General Klaviyo Management:

• Build Email Templates: Create and build email templates designed in Figma using the Klaviyo drag-and-drop builder.
• Assist with Sign-up Forms: Assist with creating sign-up forms, including fly-outs, pop-ups, and embed forms.
• Client Tech Stack Integrations: Review and set up client tech stack integrations in Klaviyo, including Okendo, Yotpo, Elevar, Instant, and Customer.AI.
• Segmentation Setup: Provide segmentation setup support based on purchasing behaviour and email/SMS engagement.

Reporting:

• Provide Detailed Analytics: Provide detailed analytics and performance reporting on email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI metrics.

About this Role:

• Minimum 2-3 years of email marketing or digital marketing experience.
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template customisation and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in email marketing metrics and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and compliance regulations.
• Experience with marketing automation and customer segmentation strategies.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging email content.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data management.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency.
