We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSF.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in the Australian tax system, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and exceptional written and verbal English business communication skills. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices, high-level Excel skills, and working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and XPM are also essential.

Job Description
  • Preparation of BAS, IAS, and other client reporting
  • Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSF
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in the Australian tax system
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
  • Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF (experience with SMSF in Class software highly regarded)
  • Exceptional written and verbal English business communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
  • High-level Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and XPM
