We are seeking a seasoned data professional to spearhead the development of our ETL pipelines. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for making strategic technology decisions to enhance pipeline performance, resilience, and transparency.

About the Role
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures to support business growth.
  • Develop internal processes and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across departmental initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and experience with evaluating and selecting technologies to support scalability and data pipeline orchestration. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a remote environment.

A full work-from-home arrangement is offered, and we prefer candidates who can adapt to night shifts (preferably starting at 11:00 PM). We strive to create a flexible and dynamic work environment that allows our employees to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines using Python and other technologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve data pipeline performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a data engineer with a focus on Python and Linux.
  • Strong DevOps skills and experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
