Job Overview

The Head of Release Management plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of software releases across global projects.

  • This leadership position oversees the release management process, guaranteeing timely and high-quality software releases.
  • Close collaboration with executive leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams is essential to ensure that all releases meet business goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing and optimizing the release management process, coordinating across teams to streamline release cycles, overseeing planning, scheduling, and execution of all releases, developing and maintaining release documentation, identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges in the release pipeline, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.

Requirements

To succeed as the Head of Release Management, you should possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in release management within a technology department.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release pipelines.
  • Expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology systems and industry compliance standards.
  • A results-driven approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
