Job Role:

Sinewaves, a cloud-based platform for modern messaging solutions, is seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join one of its product engineering squads. The ideal candidate will have high autonomy and be expected to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop secure, reliable, well-tested, and maintainable code while prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Be proactive in suggesting improvements to the team's technical approach and programming practices
  • Pursue learning opportunities and implement solutions as Proof of Concept or actual implementation
  • Stay adaptable to how products are used by customers and help fix production issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members on code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes focusing on security, performance, and reliability
  • Participate in the end-to-end delivery of work from design and architecture to production deployment and support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality software to customers
  • Commercial experience in NodeJS/Typescript programming
  • Experience across the tech stack including software architecture, frontend development, backend development, database systems, and test automation
  • Hands-on commercial experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Microservices, AWS Serverless, REST APIs, Docker
  • Passion for clean and beautiful code and best engineering practices
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues
