Senior Python Developer Opportunity

This is a remote position for those looking to advance their careers in software development.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python developer to join our team of experts. As part of our Engineering function, you will be responsible for designing and building applications using Python and GenAI tools such as Langchain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing & building applications using Python and GenAI tools.
  • Maintaining personal technical quality standards within the project team.
  • Defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building and deployment.
  • Contributing to Nearform tooling and open-source projects.
  • Designing and implementing data storage solutions.
  • Optimising performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintaining version control and build processes.
  • Getting feedback from users and clients, and building solutions for them.
  • Assisting with the analysis of client requirements.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience delivering at a Senior Developer level in an enterprise environment.
  • Data Science techniques, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING IN AN AGILE ENVIRONMENT.
  • Deep understanding of Python.
  • SQL Databases (PostgreSQL is preferred).
  • Security and performance considerations.
  • Layout aesthetics, responsive design and mobile web development.
  • Architectural and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with various open-source technologies and tools.
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • English proficiency.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in Python and AI/ML libraries.
  • LangChain, AutoGen, or similar frameworks for multi-agent systems.
