We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and submission of accurate, complete, and audit-ready PIR changes in SAP to ensure POs flow at the right price, terms, and lead time.

About the Role:
  • The Data Analyst will receive bulk PIR create/change requests from Category Managers, SC Project Managers, and NPI.
  • They will check request completeness (quote/contract, currency & price unit, validity dates, plant & purchasing org, unit of measure).
  • Each request will be classified: New PIR, Price update, Terms update (Incoterms/Payment Terms), Lead time/UoM, Source List/Quota, MPN/AVL
  • The Data Analyst will prepare PIR details and condition records (price scales) with the correct price unit and currency; ensuring no validity overlap with existing records.
  • Planning fields will be updated when needed: Lead Time, MOQ, order unit & UoM conversions, GR-based IV, and tolerances.
  • A clear evidence pack (quote/contract, quick calculation, before/after screenshots, approvals if required) will be attached.
  • The Data Analyst will submit for approval: following Segregation of Duties (SoD)—maker prepares, checker approves.
  • Each request will be tracked to closure; keeping the backlog updated and meeting agreed SLA.
  • After approval, the Data Analyst will support a clean load/mass update, run a quick pricing simulation/test PO, and record the result.
  • Source Lists and Quota Arrangements will be maintained carefully; avoiding unintended source switches.
  • For alternate MPN/AVL changes, activation will be held until required approvals are documented; noting any risks in the ticket.
  • MDM SOPs and checklists will be followed; suggesting practical improvements to templates and validation rules as learned.
  • Collaboration with Buyers, Planners, Category, NPI, Finance, IT, and Approvers will occur to resolve data issues quickly and at the root cause.
Requirements:
  • A working knowledge of SAP MM, including scales, price units, and validity control.
  • An understanding of P2P/MRP impacts (PLIFZ, MOQ, UoM conversions, GR-based IV, Source List/Quota).
  • Proficiency in Excel (lookups, Power Query) for conversions, validations, and reconciliations.
  • A controls mindset: operating within maker–checker SoD; meticulous with change logs and evidence packs.
