Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to contact customers by telephone and email to resolve overdue payment issues. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for problem resolution, account reconciliation, receipt and allocation of payments, and maintaining accurate files and documentation.

Additionally, the Specialist will investigate and resolve customer disputes, provide information on disputes to the Sales team, and identify potential bad debts within the customer portfolio or operational risks.

  • Contact customers via phone and email to resolve payment issues
  • Problem resolution and account reconciliation
  • Receipt and allocation of payments
  • Maintenance of accurate files and documentation
  • Investigation and resolution of customer disputes
  • Information provision to the Sales team
  • Identification of potential bad debts or operational risks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in Billing & Claims in a business-to-business collections environment
  • Basic knowledge of SAP AR preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Account Reconciliation
  • Exposure to OTC/OTR processes preferred
  • Proficiency in basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, the basic accounting equation, adjustment, billing, credits, and claims processing
