Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all commercial kitchen equipment.

  • To inspect, clean, maintain and repair all commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, ovens, stoves and dishwashers.
  • To diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in kitchen appliances and machinery.
  • To ensure proper functioning of ventilation and exhaust systems in the kitchen.
  • To cooperate closely with the kitchen, banquet and F&B departments to ensure smooth operations during service hours and special events.
  • To assist in setting up and maintaining kitchen equipment for banquets, functions and events as required.
  • To carry out preventive maintenance tasks on all kitchen machinery and appliances.
  • To replace faulty or worn-out parts such as seals, gaskets, belts and electrical components as needed.
  • To maintain records of maintenance, repairs and inspections of kitchen equipment.
  • To ensure all work complies with safety and health regulations specific to commercial kitchens.
  • To maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and equipment after completion of maintenance tasks.
  • To assist with inventory control and report on spare parts and equipment needs.
  • To support kitchen staff by promptly responding to equipment issues to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. They should be able to work efficiently under time constraints and have relevant technical certification or trade license.
