About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our clinical outreach initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in designing and executing effective outreach campaigns, as well as a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.

  • Design and execute comprehensive outreach campaigns to activate clinical trial sites.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify key specialists and filter out poor fits.
  • Utilize clinical judgment and U.S. standard of care research to ensure targeted outreach efforts.
  • Develop targeting frameworks using CPT, ICD-10, and claims logic to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Quality-assure all lists before launch to ensure quality, specialty match, and targeting precision.
  • Establish standardized procedures (SOPs) and research playbooks to improve repeatable outreach efforts.
  • Compose persuasive outreach emails that drive meaningful responses.
  • Manage outreach coordinators – assign tasks, check quality, and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Execute email sequences in designated tools.
  • Triage replies and hand off to senior leadership for further qualification.
  • Track outreach performance in designated platforms.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the system – identify issues, propose fixes, and implement enhancements.

Requirements:

  • You have led high-context outreach campaigns in healthcare, clinical research, or healthtech.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of how doctors work – specialties, referrals, and the U.S. healthcare system.
  • You can reverse-engineer who sees the right patients and develop strategies to filter them effectively.
  • You are systems-driven – building playbooks, workflows, and logic trees.
  • You have experience managing junior staff (coordinators, VAs, SDRs) and extracting their best work.
  • You excel at written communication and can craft compelling outreach copy.
  • You are proficient in Airtable, ChatGPT, Mixmax, and Google Sheets or lightweight CRMs.
  • You consistently identify failure patterns early and address them proactively.

What Success Looks Like:

  • You have successfully launched 3+ clean campaigns without requiring direct supervision.
  • Errors like wrong specialties or zero-reply campaigns are a thing of the past.
  • Your lists are 95%+ accurate and quality-controlled before any email is sent.
  • You have developed SOPs that others can follow and optimized response rates.
  • Senior leaders are focused on strategy – because you own execution.
