Accounting Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounting expert to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in assisting the accounting delivery team in executing and delivering client accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general accounting activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee and execute month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals, adjustments, and reporting timelines.
  • Perform regular reconciliations, including vendor, debtor, and bank accounts, and conduct variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee employee expense reporting, ensuring adherence to company policies and accurate reimbursement processes.
  • Prepare and post general ledger entries and journals, and maintain control over the integrity of financial data.
  • Compute and support direct and indirect tax calculations, ensuring alignment with current tax laws and audit requirements.
  • Maintain professional client relationships, responding promptly to queries and supporting financial documentation as required.
Requirements:
  • Accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting terminology.
  • Solid foundation in accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
  • 2-4 years accounting operations experience preferably in accounting services.
  • Experience in specific industries can be crucial for specialized financial reporting and compliance.
  • Significant skills in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks SAP Oracle Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to resolve misunderstandings.
  • Excellent consultative abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with varying levels of customers and partners.
  • Significant prioritization skills: ability to work in a dynamic rapidly changing environment by prioritizing situations that require a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrable flexibility and adaptability in challenging situations showing good judgment.
  • Significant problem-solving skills that show a flair for creativity as befits the situation.
  • Demonstrable customer service skills that enable customers to always feel valued.
