Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Payments Support Associate.

As a key member of our client's Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that payments and financial transactions are recorded and up-to-date.

Your primary duty will be to work closely with our client's Accounting team to process and account for all payments. You will also support childminders, parents, and other stakeholders in delivering excellent customer service and solutions tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support newly registered childminders in launching and running their home nurseries successfully.
  • Assist childminders directly with childcare agreements and respond to payment queries via online chat or phone.
  • Provide ongoing support for active placements by ensuring all care is invoiced and paid for.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to enable childminders to run and grow their businesses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, payments, or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong customer mindset and ability to build strong relationships with our community.
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and willingness to roll up sleeves to get into detail.
  • Ability to deal with challenging customer situations.
  • Knack for explaining difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Excitement about solving problems and improving processes.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, front-line support position.
Preferred Skills
  • Good spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service position.
  • Comfort using various tech platforms (we will teach you any unfamiliar ones).
