The Senior Agricultural Business Development Manager role at Trion Trade, Incorporated is a challenging opportunity to lead the sales operations of agricultural products or services.

This position involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies to penetrate the market, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and driving business growth within the agricultural sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that sales goals are met, products are effectively marketed, and customer needs are addressed while staying informed about market trends and industry developments.

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate the market of agricultural products or services, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including farmers, agricultural businesses, distributors, and retailers, to drive sales growth and revenue.
  3. Product Marketing: Promote agricultural products or services to clients, demonstrating their benefits and how they meet customer needs, through effective marketing and communication strategies.
  4. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track performance and adjust strategies as needed, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  5. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms and contracts with customers, ensuring profitability and long-term business relationships.
  6. Agricultural Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of agricultural products, services, and technology to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Business, Marketing, or any related field.
  2. At least four (4) years' work experience as Sales Manager/Assistant Manager or similar role in the agricultural industry.
