Financial Operations Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled financial professional to support their accounting and asset management operations across a diverse portfolio of multifamily real estate assets.
This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who will report to the Senior Manager and collaborate closely with other members of the accounting and asset management teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in real estate, finance, or a related field, with a strong preference for those with experience in Yardi and Microsoft Excel.
The selected individual will be responsible for recording and categorizing transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing account reconciliations.
Additionally, the candidate will manage bank activity, process payments and disbursements, reconcile corporate credit card activity, and monitor accounts payable and receivable activity across properties and entities.
The ideal candidate will also assist with entity-level financial statement preparation and monthly close procedures, as well as support other members of the accounting team with cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities include responding to internal and external inquiries with timely and accurate financial data, as well as completing special projects assigned by the Senior Manager or Controller.
The qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, prior experience in real estate, finance, or a multi-entity environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are essential requirements for this position.
