Senior Financial Director

About This Role

The Senior Financial Director will oversee the entire financial management process, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role requires someone to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards, and delivery of insightful financial data to support business decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead activities to create accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial models that align with business objectives.
  • Month-End Close Process: Oversee procedures to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare, review, and present reports highlighting key business drivers, trends, and variances.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams to align financial plans with operational goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a remote finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
