Key Role in AI Data Team

A key position is available for a skilled professional to join our data team and support model training operations.

This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to enable high-quality dataset creation at petabyte-scale and low cost through tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work.

We utilize cloud infrastructure for ingestion pipeline management, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and incorporate new sources of audio data into our ingestion pipeline.
  • Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, ensuring efficient data processing.
  • Collaborate with scientists to optimize data quality, delivery speed, and overall performance.
  • Craft a comprehensive dataset roadmap to power consumer and enterprise products.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development, preferably with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, with experience using major Cloud Providers (we use GCP).
  • Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively.
