Accounting Specialist Role

At our organization, we seek an experienced and skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage general accounting activities, including financial statement preparation, month-end close procedures, and account reconciliations. Additionally, the candidate will oversee employee expense reporting, ensure adherence to company policies, and maintain control over the integrity of financial data.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general accounting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Prepare and post general ledger (GL) entries and journals.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations, including vendor, debtor, and bank accounts.
  • Oversee employee expense reporting, ensuring accurate reimbursement processes.

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
  • 2-4 years of accounting operations experience, preferably in accounting services.
  • Significant skills in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools.
