This key role is part of our organization's efforts to ensure engagement success and effective people management. You will collaborate with leadership, operations, and resource management teams to optimize project staffing, maintain delivery team utilization, and maximize revenue growth.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Collaborating with other teams to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS THROUGH PARTNERSHIP, COOPERATION, AND TRUST.
  • Managing own projects where required.
  • Overseeing small concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Managing and resolving escalations between the project, client, or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner.
  • Overseeing resource planning and coordination of project activities between client and internal/external resources needed to accomplish strategic business objectives.
  • Mentoring staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
  • Providing teams with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities, and growth plans by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Ensuring that bench time for consultants is used to improve skills in line with practice technology roadmaps.
  • Monitoring the alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
  • Soliciting feedback from delivery owners of engagements where GDC team members are aligned.
  • Conducting interviews of prospective candidates.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated client relationship skills and experience setting and managing client expectations.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively up to Executive Levels.
  • Extensive experience aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects in alignment with project commitments.
  • A strong sense of working collaboratively with leadership teams.
  • Deep professional knowledge in stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.
  • Ability to lay out sound work plans and resolve competing trade-offs.
  • Ability to manage up to 20 people and provide guidance on their career development.
  • Ability to remain composed during challenging and critical situations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with sales and solutioning stakeholders on staffing and timeline commitments and ensuring alignment in expectations.
