Job Overview

Data protection is a critical aspect of any organization's security strategy. As a Data Loss Prevention Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and mitigating risks to sensitive information.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in existing technical models, analyzing alerting platforms for gaps and weaknesses, and developing data classification and tagging strategies.

Additional duties include continually reviewing risk scoring models, defining metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program success, and communicating security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years' experience in data classification and tagging
  • Minimum 5–7 years' work experience in cybersecurity, data protection, insider threat, counterintelligence, or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent oral communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience with commercial Data Loss Prevention and User Activity Monitoring tools
