Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

  1. This is a hands-on role that requires a balance of technical expertise, collaboration, and strategic thinking.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable API solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including fellow engineers, product managers, designers, and technical leaders to deliver exceptional backend services and integrations.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on public-facing API products.
  • Deep knowledge of full-stack technologies required to build and run APIs; experience with FastAPI is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture and event-based technologies such as webhooks.
  • Applied AI tools and technologies in API development and integration workflows.
  • Proficiency in SQL and advanced database design, with strong skills in performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and practical experience in pipeline automation.
  • Strong experience working with AWS, particularly services like API Gateway, Lambda, and the Serverless Stack.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
