We are seeking a Financial Reconciliation Expert to join our team at Herbein + Company, Inc.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and experience in financial reconciliation.
Key Tasks:- Reconcile client general ledger and investigate reconciling items.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform account analysis and prepare financial reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, prepaids and accruals.
- Prepare taxable fringe benefit calculations for clients.
- Perform bookkeeping services for certain clients; enter invoices and bills, enter cash receipts and cash disbursements, and periodic reconciliation of trial balances.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or related degree required
- At least 1-3 years' experience in US general ledger bookkeeping and comprehensive reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Sage a plus
- Demonstrate an ability to learn accounting software products used by client.
- Demonstrate good analytical and reasoning skills and attention to details
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to assume variety of tasks and deadline driven.
