Senior Clearing and Settlement Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our clearing and settlement operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of clearance and settlement activities across multiple platforms, with a focus on maintaining market integrity and efficiency.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of trade matching, netting, settlement, exception handling, risk mitigation, physical processing, and operational controls. Experience in project management, workflow improvements, and operational risk reviews is also highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in software testing and UAT, with a strong background in Java or Selenium TestNG automation. They will also possess excellent people management skills, having led teams in the past, and be able to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Description:

  • Lead the clearing and settlement operations team to ensure the efficient execution of clearance and settlement activities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with clearance and settlement activities.
  • Design and influence automation strategies for UAT, emphasizing reusability and automation principles.
  • Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans, including automated testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing and UAT.
  • Strong background in Java or Selenium TestNG automation.
  • Excellent people management skills, with experience leading teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
