Job Description

The primary function of this role is to oversee tax compliance and strategic planning for businesses and individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax filings, as well as providing expert guidance on tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex tax matters and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws.
  • Prepare and file various tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings.
  • Provide reliable and high-quality service to clients while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, business acumen, and excellent communication abilities. Key requirements include:

  • Minimum five years of experience with US-based accounting firms, focusing on tax accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant with a background in Accountancy.
  • At least one year of experience in a global remote setup with a company based in North America, Europe, Australia, or the UAE.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online; Drake Tax experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in preparing various tax returns: partnerships, S corps, C corps, individuals, and trusts.
  • Strong knowledge of US tax laws, compliance, and multi-state filings.
  • Experienced with Forms 1120S, 1120, 1065, and 1040.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
