Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and executing comprehensive manual test cases and test plans.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices.

They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla is also highly desirable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test plans.
    • Review and understand software requirements, specifications and technical design documents.
    • Identify, document and track software defects using a defect tracking system.
    • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
Requirements

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques.
