Software Quality Champion Role Overview

The Senior Software Tester role involves the development of comprehensive test plans, execution of manual and automated tests, identification and resolution of software defects, and promotion of high-quality software products.

This position requires collaboration with developers, thorough analysis of project requirements, and ensuring that financial technology applications meet global standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Role is 90% manual testing and 10% automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
