Job Summary

The Supply Planning Optimization Expert is responsible for optimizing inventory across the supply chain network to meet target customer service levels and forecast accuracy. This involves determining policies, reviewing safety stock and inventory levels, and regularly reviewing and optimizing inventory parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine policies and review safety stock and inventory levels.
  • Regularly review and optimize inventory parameters and levels (e.g., reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization).
  • Place orders based on agreed lead time and volume parameters.
  • Accountable for quality updates to Material Master Data.
  • Work closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators.
  • Prepare and assist in gap resolution as pre-work to the Sales and Operations Planning meeting.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any business-related course.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in Supply or Demand planning is required.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end planning processes.
  • Good knowledge of inventory policies and methodologies.
  • System Knowledge [Microsoft Office esp. Excel – Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc].
