Job Overview

The role of a Tax Services Manager in our Payroll Operate team involves implementing and managing payroll tax processes for clients across the US. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as maintaining expertise in payroll and employer tax compliance knowledge.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the implementation of correct processes for tax reporting as per US employment tax standards for new client projects.
  • Lead or support continuous innovation, build next-generation Tax e-filing solutions.
  • Maintain capabilities in payroll and employer tax compliance knowledge, process design, documentation, tax reporting system setup and reviews.
  • Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations at the employee level.
  • Prepare periodic and amendment reporting, maintain tax issue logs and host regular client reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in payroll tax processing and compliance.
  • Proficiency in payroll tax software and systems.
  • Leadership and team management abilities; project management skills.
