Job Role

This is a long-term position working fully remotely with one client. The goal of the role is to ensure seamless case progression by managing workflows and tracking status updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and track legal workflow pipelines to guarantee tasks and cases progress within deadlines.
  • Review case statuses weekly to identify overdue tasks or delays requiring attention.
  • Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to clarify task assignments and workflow issues.
  • Assist in preparing reports to highlight case progress and workflow patterns.
  • Regularly check case management systems for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate case status meetings with legal teams to discuss active cases and assign tasks.
  • Provide regular pipeline status updates and escalate ongoing challenges.
  • Implement changes to workflows as directed by leadership, offering feedback and suggestions.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a legal environment (e.g., case coordination, paralegal work).
  • A strong understanding of legal workflows and case management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion with sensitive information.
  • A general knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fully fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with case management software; familiarity with Clio is beneficial.
  • Certification in legal studies is preferred.
