Accounting Specialist: Managing Invoices and Vendor Relationships

At N-able Technologies Ltd., we're looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Accounts Payable department, you'll be responsible for processing invoices and managing vendor relationships.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of full-cycle Accounts Payable processes and experience working with computerized/integrated PO/GL systems. You'll work closely with our global team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, as well as effective management of vendor queries and employee expenses.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience across the full cycle Accounts Payable function, with the chance to work on cross-trained tasks in EMEA and APAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process PO and non-PO related invoices in a timely manner and in accordance with company spending policy
  • Ensure correct invoice/PO matching/Goods Received, Sales Tax and VAT distribution, GL coding, and approval of non-PO related invoices as per the company's spending policy
  • Review and process employee T&E reports and ensure company policies are adhered to
  • Process new vendor setup and vendor changes following SOX procedures
  • Complete bi-monthly vendor and employee expense payment runs
  • Review, verify, and process monthly corporate credit card statements, including coding and reconciliation
  • Daily engagement with global Accounts Payable team members and accounting team members in overseas locations
  • Engage with all operational functions (Facilities, IT, Sales, Legal, Security, HR, R&D, Marketing, etc.) to resolve issues around spend request approvals, PO's and invoicing as they arise
  • Respond to and manage vendor queries in an organized and prompt manner
  • Ad Hoc reporting and assisting with audit queries
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of the full-cycle Accounts Payable process with a solid general ledger understanding
  • Strong MS Office skills, including MS Excel (pivot tables)
  • Strong organisational skills; ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to understand the flow of details through Procurement, PO's, Accounts Payable and General ledger postings to identify any issues and determine solution required
  • Ability to work and communicate with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally obtain answers and achieve results
  • Team player with a positive 'can do' attitude
  • A strong work ethic, commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Previous experience of a computerized/integrated PO/GL system a distinct advantage
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Experience with Coupa a plus
