Job Description

A Bid Artist is responsible for creating visually engaging, high-impact proposals that help our organization win and retain business.

The role involves working closely with bid managers and creative designers to develop compelling visual designs for proposals, presentations, and business development materials.

Key responsibilities include designing visually appealing layouts, adjusting artwork to meet tender/RFP specifications, preparing print-ready files using Adobe InDesign and other tools, developing infographics, charts, and visual storytelling elements, building and refining documents in Microsoft Office suite, collaborating with in-house designers and bid managers, maintaining a design library, managing multiple projects, and advocating for design best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Finished Artist, ideally in a bid, proposal, or corporate environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • A keen eye for detail, layout, and typography.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, visually engaging content.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or professional services desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in graphic design and finished artwork.
  • Tertiary qualified in Graphic Design.
