Learning and Development Expert

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of learners in various roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning theory, and e-learning authoring tools.

The Learning and Development Expert will work closely with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized learning solutions. They will also be responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and developing engaging course content using ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick, and other recognized models
  • Identifying best delivery methods for meeting learning objectives and adapting instructional materials as needed
  • Authoring training material using Articulate 360, Vyond, Canva, and other common tools
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of adult learning theory and learning technologies

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of learning and development principles, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in learning/training/people development, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate, build effective relationships, and influence peers and key stakeholders to achieve results
  • Experience leveraging adult learning methodologies, learning management systems, eLearning authoring tools (Articulate suite preferred), and MS Office
  • LMS Administration - Docebo
  • iRad experience

Working Conditions

  • Work from home
