Financial Expert Wanted

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on analytical and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month. They will also process accounts receivable and payable, handle monthly payroll using accounting software, compile, analyze, and report financial data, present data to management, monitor financial transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and post daily financial transactions accurately.
  • Reconcile financial statements, including sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts.
  • Process and manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Handle monthly payroll using accounting software.
  • Compile, analyze, and report financial data to management.
  • Present financial information to management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software and experience with QuickBooks or MYOB is a plus.
  • At least one year of US Payroll experience and working remotely as an accountant.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting principles is necessary.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or MYOB.
  • Able to prepare, review, and understand financial statements.
  • Ethical behavior and attention to detail are vital.
