Structural Detailer Role Overview

A skilled Structural Detailer is required to set modeling standards, ensure quality and accuracy of models, and assist in project execution. This role will collaborate with clients and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Produce structural drawings and Revit models that meet quality requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on own work and project design models.
  • Execute advanced model execution tasks with complex geometry.
  • Ensure construction documents are accurately modeled.
  • Create special conditions and complex family creations.
  • Present considerations using 3D views.
  • Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
  • Collaborate with the project team to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's or combined education and experience.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Structural Design.
  • At least 3 years of full-time work experience in structural design.
  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit and working knowledge of Tekla, SDS/2, and/or StrucSoft.
  • Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment.
