Job Opportunity: 2D to 3D Point Cloud Conversion Specialist

At RemoteVA PH, we are currently looking for a highly skilled 2D to 3D Point Cloud Conversion Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for transforming 2D portrait images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models using advanced laser technology.

The ideal candidate should have experience in 3D modeling, image processing, and precision-based digital design. They will be responsible for converting high-resolution 2D images into 3D models, enhancing image contrast and definition, ensuring file compatibility with engraving machine formats, and conducting quality checks before delivering the final product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Convert 2D Images to 3D Models: Use specialized software to convert high-resolution 2D images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models with raised facial features.
  • Enhance Image Quality: Apply techniques to enhance image contrast, clarity, and definition to achieve optimal engraving results.
  • Ensure File Compatibility: Verify that the converted files are compatible with engraving machine formats such as OBJ.
  • Quality Checks: Conduct thorough quality checks before delivering the final product to ensure it meets the required standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in 3D Modeling: Proven experience in 3D modeling, CAD, or image-to-3D conversion.
  • Point Cloud Generation: Familiarity with point cloud generation tools and techniques.
  • Bas-Relief Modeling: Strong understanding of bas-relief modeling and digital sculpting.
  • 3D File Formats: Knowledge of 3D file formats (OBJ, STL, etc.) and scaling processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
