Enterprise Sales Expert

This role focuses on driving revenue growth across various levels of seniority within the Sales and Alliances teams.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystems, as well as open-source selling models.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial business terms with confidence.
  • Build and expand strategic relationships to drive business forward.
  • Establish and own sales engagement strategies to meet targets and objectives.
  • Grow customer awareness of open-source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu.
  • Deliver results-driven outcomes and provide valuable insights as the voice of the partner/customer.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to foster partnerships in person.
  • Align internal Field teams to identify, support, grow, and transact opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to deliver results and provide customer insights.
  • Lead executive-level interactions between partners/customers and our leadership team.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of exceeding expectations to achieve outstanding revenue results in the technology field.
  • Experience with Linux and open-source platforms.
  • An exceptional academic record from both high school and university, regardless of current position seniority.
  • An undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about alternative chosen paths.
  • The confidence to communicate effectively, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation.
  • Leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship.
  • A passion for technology evident through personal projects and initiatives.
  • The work ethic and confidence to excel alongside motivated colleagues.
  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
