Accounting Professional for Financial Record Management

This is a challenging accounting role that involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting.
Responsibilities- Create or maintain records of financial transactions for clients, using various accounting systems
- Process invoicing and accounts receivable, pay bills, and manage expense management software and accounts payable
- Manage payroll through a payroll service, handle other accounting entries and transactions, and reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
- Support audits by external entities, prepare supporting schedules, gather information, and provide analysis as requested
- Compile reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business
- Report against metrics/budgets, perform payroll and payroll tax-related returns, analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepare a balance sheet, profit, and loss statement, and other reports to summarize the current and projected company financial position
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of full charge bookkeeper/staff accountant experience including account reconciliation and work paper preparation experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required, with Bill.com experience a plus
- Prior experience with manufacturing or construction is preferred, with intermediate Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills are essential
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently.
