Job Overview

The Knowledgebase Writer is a strategic role responsible for the ongoing governance of a knowledge base, encompassing its overall health and best practices. The ideal candidate should foster correct and widespread usage of the knowledge base, develop guidelines for captured information and contributors, and ensure it remains up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, searchable content for diverse audiences by defining the knowledge management strategy for the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, trainers, QA teams, IDs, and subject matter experts to create and support new and existing products, processes, and services.
  • Utilize analytics to evaluate business impact, track usage, and enhance the efficiency of knowledge base content.
  • Establish writing guidelines based on knowledge base best practices and leverage these to improve content quality.
  • Implement changes to knowledge base articles based on requests and suggestions from various stakeholders.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to ensure article content accuracy and validate product specifics.
  • Proactively review the knowledge base and suggest updates that are necessary.
  • Create new knowledge base articles as campaigns launch new policies, procedures, or products.
  • Provide regular updates on article status to stakeholders and implement 'change tracking' strategies for approved changes.
  • Edit all work for spelling, grammar, conciseness, clarity, and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in content writing or equivalent experience.
  • Independent creation of engaging online articles, guides, and user support content.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with writing and graphics tools, apps, and online platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data (KPIs, Quality, searches, views), identify areas for improvement, and create innovative solutions.
  • Capacity for self-development and learning new knowledge and skills quickly.
  • Effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders from Training, Operations, Quality, and clients.
  • Alignment with core values such as Respect, Integrity, Transparency, and Excellence.
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and flexible schedule.
