Mid to Senior-Level Rails Software Developer

As a key contributor to our technology team, we are seeking a seasoned Ruby on Rails developer with 4+ years of professional experience.

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and be familiar with best practices for testing (RSpec, Minitest, etc.).
  • They must be comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones, as well as possessing strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining features in a large Rails monolith, collaborating with the product and engineering teams, writing clean, scalable, and well-tested code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, specifically PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest
  • Experience with remote collaboration and communication
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
