Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design and deliver scalable, secure, and reusable cloud solutions for the financial sector.

The Role
  • Design and build re-usable cloud platform solution offers for Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Payments, Capital Markets, and Insurance verticals.
  • Design technical solutions that address customer requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Produce high-quality technical designs and build blueprints.
  • Assist with implementation of cloud architectures, including account and network structure, deployment orchestration and automation, and security best practices.
  • Build and configure build plans, code pipelines, and create automated solutions that can be framed and reused.
Key Skills

We require:

  • Mandatory experience using VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, IAM, S3, EBS, Glacier, Route 53, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation.
  • Secondary Skills: EC2, Direct Connect, VPN, API Gateway, AWS Organizations, Amazon GuardDuty, KMS, CloudHSM, AWS Shield.
  • Prior experience as an AWS Platform engineer across multiple projects with go-live milestones.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and implementing cloud-based and/or cloud-native solutions.
  • Knowledge in Ansible/Docker/Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills are mandatory to lead diverse global architecture teams.
  • Ability to communicate in a DevOps environment with the team, managers, business units, and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is strongly desired.
  • Must own ability to learn fast, adapt to new technology, and keep current with industry certifications.
