Software Development Expert

We're seeking an experienced software development professional to join our team. As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for designing and building innovative software solutions that meet the needs of local government and school districts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in developing applications using conventional technologies. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Job Description:
  • Develop software applications and infrastructure for various products
  • Participate in both agile and waterfall development environments, contributing to sprint definitions and reviews as needed
  • Collaborate with product teams to drive tangible results in the market
  • Aid technical support and other departments with deployment and runtime issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes
  • Prioritize cloud migration efforts
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with .NET, C# coding, or aptitude for learning
  • 1-3 years of software design and development experience with conventional technologies
  • Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability for effective multitasking and tracking deliverables and timelines
  • Ability to succeed on highly visible projects
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across team boundaries
  • Familiarity with Linux, HTML5, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, Angular, and REST APIs is beneficial
  • Experience with data modeling tools and web services is beneficial
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience and certifications are advantageous
  • Experience with automated tests, continuous deployment, and test-driven development is beneficial
