Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing SEO and content marketing strategies to drive performance results for individual clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies for individual clients.
  • Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Own and delegate digital marketing tasks within weekly sprint planning framework.
  • Ideate experiments for client accounts designed to produce high likelihood of performance improvement.
  • Work with design and editing partners to ensure content is search-friendly and engaging.
  • Act as Quality Assurance for conversion tracking, identifying breaks that render reporting less valuable.
  • Document client-specific tasks for delegation to other team members.
  • Attend client meetings as subject matter expert.
  • Audit other client accounts and prospect accounts for opportunity harvesting and strategy validation.
  • Contribute to iterative documentation improvements of industry team and organic search discipline.
  • Successfully manage digital marketing campaigns across 10-20 brands and accounts.
  • Craft and implement cohesive, multi-platform digital marketing strategies.
  • Maintain a detailed six-month roadmap of digital marketing initiatives and tasks.
  • Track, manage, and report on defined digital marketing performance KPIs.
  • Conduct strategic forecasting and budget planning for digital marketing efforts.
  • Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking for digital analytics.
  • Demonstrate expertise with key digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Work closely with paid search and social experts to integrate digital marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiential knowledge.
  • Prior experience working in a professional services organization.
  • 5+ years professional experience in digital marketing, 3+ specialized in SEO.
  • Experience leading or managing teams of individual contributors.
