Job Role:

This is a remote, independent contractor position in the field of financial planning.

We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to support our team in creating comprehensive financial plans for clients.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assist in setting up and structuring Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilize financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations adhere to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
