Translation Specialist

Job Summary:

Caption Translator specialists are responsible for converting written content into various languages, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. This role involves translating captions, documents, web pages, and software content, while maintaining a high level of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate written materials from English to target languages, adhering to client requirements and deadlines.
  • Correct cultural translation issues arising from machine translation errors.
  • Collaborate with clients to refine translation outputs, incorporating feedback and revisions.
  • Manage translation databases using Translation Management Software.
  • Provide regular quality assurance checks on translated content.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless translation services.

Requirements:

  • BA degree in Communications, Linguistics, or related field.
  • Minimum four years of experience in translation services.
  • Proficiency in Translation Management System tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of the translation process, terminology, and localization techniques.
  • Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and translation skills.
  • Fluency in at least two target languages.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
